ROAD_TYPE Property |
The ROAD_TYPE flag is an integer value that indicates the relative size of a road.
0 | Super highway |
1 | Major highway |
2 | Secondary highway |
3 | Arterial road |
4 | Street |
5 | Pedestrian access only |
6 | Restricted access road |
The FUNC_CLASS, ROUTE_TYPE and SPEED_CAT values are all used in combination with the AR_XYZ flags to assign a ROAD_TYPE value to a particular link. Where the requirements for two or more ROAD_TYPE values are met, the lowest value will be the one assigned.
The requirements for the different possible ROAD_TYPE values are as follows:
