A GeoStream installation using the GeoBase installer places all files needed to run a GeoStream server. It also installs a number of example scripts and folders that are not typically needed on a production GeoStream server.

Note Note

In a typical default GeoStream installation, the GeoStream installation directory will be located at either C:inetpub\wwwroot\GeoStream or C:\Program Files (x86)\Telogis\GeoBase\GeoStream\server.

The following folders and files are not needed by GeoStream and can be removed:

  • The '<INSTALL FOLDER>\server\scripts\resources' folder and its contents

  • <INSTALL FOLDER>\server\map.htm

  • <INSTALL FOLDER>\server\sandbox.htm

  • <INSTALL FOLDER>\server\scripts\tutorial.advanced-balloon.aspx

  • <INSTALL FOLDER>\server\scripts\tutorial.advanced-routing.aspx

  • <INSTALL FOLDER>\server\scripts\tutorial.canvas.aspx

  • <INSTALL FOLDER>\server\scripts\tutorial.canvaslayer.aspx

  • <INSTALL FOLDER>\server\scripts\tutorial.clustering.ashx

  • <INSTALL FOLDER>\server\scripts\tutorial.contextmenu.js

  • <INSTALL FOLDER>\server\scripts\tutorial.custom-poi.aspx
