Parameters
- lat1
- Type: SystemDouble
latitude 1 in radians - lon1
- Type: SystemDouble
longitude 1 in radians - lat2

latitude 2 in radians - lon2
- Type: SystemDouble
longitude 2 in radians
Return Value
Type:
DoubleThe distance over the surface of a sphere between the latitude/longitude pairs.
Remarks
A great circle is a circle drawn around the surface of a sphere. Both sphere and circle share the
same center, and for any two given points (the latitude/longitude pairs) on the sphere's surface
there is a unique great circle. The smallest arc between the two points on the great circle describes
the shortest distance between the two points.
